The latest innovations to the Superlite family of calipers are utilized in the new FSLI4 calipers. These calipers are commonly used on three or four corners of dirt late models, the rear of big-block style modifieds, and in asphalt late models.
They have undergone a redesign with internal fluid ports that eliminate the need for external fluid cross-over tubes, eliminating potential problems that could arise from a damaged tube. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies, allowing these right and left-hand oriented differential piston bore calipers to be mounted in a leading or trailing position.
With an assembled weight of just 4.4lbs, the caliper body design is a product of computer-generated solid modeling and stress analysis technology.
These calipers are popular for all types of sustained hard braking on dirt and asphalt ovals, as well as a wide range of off-road, rally, and road course applications.
